A Little More About Me

Since 2007, I have worked in the field of power-based violence (PBV) (also called interpersonal violence) supporting survivors of sexual assault, dating violence and stalking. I have worked in women's shelters, legal agencies, non-profits, and at institutions of higher education all in support of survivors' of PBV. I have a sustained passion of supporting survivors so in 2019 I completed a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California to become a licensed therapist so that I can work more with this population. Currently, I am earning supervised hours towards licensure under Dr. Kristen Zaleski, LCSW 24996, trauma expert and author.

I have been fortunate enough to have lived in various parts of California including the central coast, where I received my BA in Psychology at UC Santa Cruz (Go Banana Slugs!), the Bay Area- Oakland will always be one of my favorite cities- and in LA and Orange Counties. For fun, and to practice self-care, I enjoy cooking, seeking out different eateries and hiking trails, yoga, travel, reading, painting, and connecting with my loved ones.
